Secret Santa.

I just realised that I hadn't shared with you my presents that I received from the Secret Santa that Gemma - MissMakeUpMagpie and Laura - TeaseFlutterPout put together before Christmas. Just a quick well done and thank you to those gorgeous girls for putting it together :) they did really well. So basically we were paired up with different beauty bloggers and had a budget of £20 to spend on them for Christmas. It was quite fun and I'll definitely do it again this year if everyone gets in involved.

Whoever got mine must have done some research on me as I love my fake tan! hehe. Mine included the St.Tropez starter kit, which includes
Tan enchancing body polish 75ml
Tan enhancing body moisturiser 75ml
Self tan bronzing mousse 50ml
Tan applicator mit.

I've tried the St.Tropez bronzing lotion before and I really liked it, but it did take super long to soak into my skin and i ended up with it all over my bedding. Which is never good is it? What I love about St.Tropez is that you don't have that awful fake tan smell! It's has a much nicer scent than any other fake tans that I've used before, which means I can get away with letting it progress throughout the day at work! Yay.

I've never tried the body polish or body moisturiser until I received this gift. So I was quite excited to see how it turned out. Which to apply first? Right haha you're ment to prepare your skin 24 hours before tanning, which means you applying the body polish all over the body and then doing the same with the moisturiser. Leave that on for a day then shower/bath to make sure skin is clean. Then it's time to apply the bronzing mousse! If you suffer with dry skin etc. be sure to apply some moisturiser before hand to your elbows, knees, ankles, hands and any other dry areas. When applying my tan I squirt a couple of pumps onto the applicato mit and then rub into the skin in circular motions. I try to leave my tan on for a full day or at least 12 hours or so, to get the best out of the tan. This does state on the back to leave on 4-8 hours (doesn't hurt to leave it on a littel longer) most tans say 24 hours or so. To make the most out of your tan be sure to moisturise daily, exfoliate and re-apply the tan a couple of times a week. My tan turned out lovely and looked super natural :) I'm looking forward to summer now I'm fed up of the cold weather. Is anyone else?

I also recieved a little bag of boots own brand moisturisers. 'Royal Jelly' with extracts of pure honey. Let me just start by saying these smell gorgeous! In the little gold bag contained a mositurisng face cream 30ml, hand and nail cream 30ml and a body lotion 30ml. Just the right size to pop in your bag to use on a daily basis or if you're staying over at a friends.

I still don't know who got me mine, but I would just like to say a big thank you for my presents :) I've really enjoyed using them the last couple of weeks.

What's your favourite fake tan you've tried so far?
Do you know of any that don't have that god awful scent?

I've been so busy recently with work that I've got behind on my blogging! Tut tut. I'm going to 'try' and get organised and get in front with my posts again as it makes it so much easier! Does anyone have any tips?

L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara.

What I love about this brush is that it extends your lashes individually - L'Oreal formula extends and thickens the lashes like no other mascara (in my eyes). Meaning you can get in all those nuts and crannies as it has a flexi-globe brush. The only problem was that the brush was too hard on the eyes for me, which I was quite shocked by as it says 'suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers'. This is the only thing I didn't like about the product! It may be down to the fact that I have quite sensitive eyes though. I'll probably just end up using another mascara spoolie in the mascara itself. Straight back to the normal mascara brush today for me though! I found that the mascara was amazing for lengthening and separating those lashes though. I always get told that mine look super long (they aren't) it's all down to the L'Oreal and their amazing mascaras. I wore the mascara for about 12 hours and I had no smudging - don't you just hate it when you get those stains under and above your eyes? and then when it came to taking my make up off, I found the mascara came off so easy! It was like a dream!

R.R.P was £10.99, but my mum picked me this one up from TK MAX costing just £3.99. I do believe that the product is discontinued now though, but you'll probably be able to pick it up on the Fragrance Direct website or something.

Best Of 2013.

So I thought I'd write up a quick post of my most used and loved products from 2013. I tried to limit it down to 5 of each, which was really hard! I love reading these kind of posts as anything someone re-purchases is appealing to me.

Favourite Body Finds
1. Soap & Glory - Girlingo - A spray on moisturiser that's so quick and easy to use.
2. Burberry Body - Perfume - This has to be my all time favourite perfume!
3. Estee Lauder - Day Wear - Oil Free Moisturiser. How could I not include this one? I've raved and raved about it so much over 2013 haha!
4. Mario Badescu - Buffering Lotion - For anyone that suffers with cystic spots (those spots that stay under your skin for ages) I really recommend this. It's made a huge change in my skin!
5. Soap & Glory - Peaches and Clean - 3 in 1 wash off - Absolutely LOVE this one. I use to feel quite down about my skin, but this has changed the way my skin looks and feels. Making my skin look more radiant and just wow after a bath.

Favourite Beauty Finds
1. Sleek - Blusher in Flushed - You only need a little bit of the gorgeous blush, but it's perfect for a natural 'flushed' colour to the cheeks especially over A/W.
2. MAC - Eyeshadow in Woodwinked - I wear this everyday without fail! I'm so glad I was introduced to it as I never really wore bronze eyeshadows previously. I think it's thee BEST eyeshadow I own.
3. MAC - Studio Fix Fluid - I was quite scared to try this one as it breaks people out pretty bad, but I love it and thankfully haven't had any side affects. The colour match is just perfect and it lasts all day long without having to re-apply.
4. Real Techniques - Expert Face Brush - I'll never use a foundation brush again!
5. theBalm - Mary-Lou Manizer- Highlighter - This has to be the best highlighter I own. Nothing but love for this one.
6. NYX - Pump It Up Lipgloss in the shade Kim - I've worn this near enough everyday since I purchased it and I've just re-ordered it as I'm running low. It's a nice natural looking gloss with the plumping effect. If you're a sucker for a nude lip like Kim K you'll love this one.

So there we are...
My favourite products from 2013. Are any of these listed in your favourites?
I'd love to know your top 5?
Happy New Year to all you lovely readers!
