I then patted some translucent powder over the top of my lips to make the lips matte and for a longer lasting finish.

So here we have my everyday make up, now I know I'm not a make up artist, in fact I'm quite far from it, but I seem to get a lot of comments on my make up and I just thought I'd give todays kind of post a little whirl. Don't judge me if my make up isn't blended out properly, or if it looks a tad messy (please, thanks). We all have to start somewhere don't we? :) I wish I was born with a face that was easy to photograph too or is there some tips for taking make up photos that anyone could share with me? Now not only did I want to share my make up with you because of the requests I get and the questions I get asked about what I've used in my outfit posts etc. but I also thought it would be a great way for me to learn and give me a kick up the bum to study make up and how it should be applied properly.

RED CARPET MAKE UP LOOK.

So todays post is something a little bit different to usual. Within todays post I'm going to be sharing the make up look I'd go for if I was to attend a red carpet event (a girl can dream). So think Golden Globe, Oscars etc.

The celebritie that totally rocks my world with these kind of events is always going to be Cara Delevingne. I absolutely love it when she turns up with a bold statement lip and lets those unruly eyebrows of hers free. She looks the part, yet rock and roll at the same time if you know what I mean? And you know me, I never like to look too tidy haha. Now if I was to choose a celebrities wardrobe for a formal event it would have to be Blake Lively! That girl is just beyond perfect! Her hair, make up, clothes, man ... everything! Although I did love that red dress that Rita Ora turned up in at the Golden Globes. It's just too hard to choose one babe isn't it? There's just too many!

I thought I'd start a new little series on my blog as I often get questioned about what make up I'm currently wearing in my little Instagram selfies. Sorry for the extreme posing to follow in these little posts. Girls gotta do, what she gotta do (sassy girl emoji).  I'll try not to wash my face out with the filters next time too! I was suffering with some horrible hormonal spots on this day... thank god for filters hey! Everything I used can be found in your nearest drugstores if you live in the UK that is. Nothing I used was very pricey so this may be helpful for you ladies out there that want good make up, but can't afford to splurge. Especially with Christmas coming up - cheaper/bargains are a must! I've definitely been loving me some berry lips this Autumn!

MAC; Coppering & All That Glitters

 

 

Hello pretties :)

Nice and short one today...

 

So I thought I'd show you a snippet of two of my new MAC eyeshadows. I know you've already seen them in their pans, but I wanted to show you what they looked like when applied to the lids. 

 

Picture to the left hand side is MAC 'All That Glitters' all over the lid, with MAC 'Coppering' blended into the crease of the eye.

 

Picture to the left hand side is MAC 'All That Glitters' as an all over base colour on it's own, I wanted to show you how pretty it were alone, never mind blended in with another colour.

 

Both the pictures have Mary-Lou Manizer in the inner corners of my eyes. I don't know what I'd do without this little gem, I use it everyday.

 

These pictures seem a little harsh, probably not the best but I couldn't find the perfect lighting. Sorry to all of you for getting to view my lovely little milk spots haha! The eyeshadows and my face wasn't that shimmery when I looked in the mirror, more subtle honestly ha.
Oh and I've got no lippy on!
