LBV.

little black vest.

all you girls love your LBD aka little black dress.
So I thought I'd do a post a little similar.
First of all I need to put this out there to all you girls who do the fashion blogs.. well done! I found it so hard and a little odd but I suppose it's going to take some getting use to. (and I need to find somewhere with a nice background) I do apologise about the setting haha!

Did anyone do anything fun over bank holiday?
I ended up going out all weekend with the girls, it got a little messy! But you're only young once and all that.

LBV.

The cheapest 'little black vest' top I own from Primark seems to go with everything.

I was having a wardrobe clear out and found all these cute little clothes that I forgot I had.

Outfit one.
- Leopard print cardigan from H&M but I did get this little number off eBay.
- LBV Primark
- Faux leather studded skirt - RARE from Topshop
- Red converse - Schuh.

Outfit two.
- Gold chain - H&M
- LBV - Primark
- Floral high wasted shorts - H&M
- Boots - Missguided

Outfit three.
- LBV - Primark
- White gypsy skirt - Primark
- Bangle - H&M
- Ballet pumps - H&M.

Well I hope this post hasn't made anyone cringe like it did me haha! Not sure if to keep this up or to just stick to my beauty posts? Let me know what you think.
Hope you're all well!

My favourite beauty buys this month.

I love these type of blogs, so I hope you enjoy mine.
Firstly I'd like to apologise as I haven't wrote in a while, My uncle has come over from Canada so I've been so busy helping him move over here in my spare time.

Ok so I thought I'd update you all on my favourites beauty buys this month. I don't think I've done one of these blogs yet but I always enjoy reading Bloggers items of the month.
I must admit there's a lot of MUA you could say I'm obsessed with their brand at the moment, it's so cheap so you can splurge more than you usually do on other brands.

MUA LIPSTICK
£1.00 each
at the time I got them from
on a 3 for 2 offer - BARGAIN.
Shades from left to right - Bare, Juicy and Nectar.
the 2nd picture doesn't do the shades much justice but they're gorgeous. The bare is a nude colour, Juicy is a pinky orange and the Nectar is an Orangey Red.
Perfect shades for the summer, If we have one that is!

MUA - HEAVEN AND EARTH
EYESHADOW PALETTE.

£4.00
The only thing that bugged with purchasing these items online was the delivery, It did take over a week to arrive.
How lovely are these shades in this palette?
I love it! It's my new favourite palette as I've never been able to have a black smokey eye it always looks too heavy on me, but this is perfect for day to day or a night time look.
Nudes, Golds, Browns etc. suit my green eyes best.

Here are some swatches of the shades in the same order as the palette.

SOAP & GLORY - BODY SPRAY
I'm so glad I purchased this it's so ideal to carry around in your handbag for an everyday scent. It is suppose to be a floral scent but if you've used their body butter before I think it smells just like that. Mmm! Yummy :)

EYLURE EYELASHES - 140

PURCHASED FROM BOOTS DRUG STORE

My favourite eyelashes of the month are eylure 140
although I wouldn't wear them on a day to day basis as they are too much, but perfect for my regular nights out on the tiles. For the perfect everyday eyelashes I would recommend eylure 116 they are lovely!

MY JOHN LENNON OVERSIZED SUNGLASSES

EBAY £1.99!
I know these aren't a beauty product but how awesome are they? I can't wait to get my wear out of them this summer.

Hope everyone is well anyway :)
I'm off for a spot of lunch and to do some shopping so I may have a new blog to post all my purchases tomorrow.

Glossybox turns 2.

So this month is Glossybox's 2nd birthday!
and we recieve all the presents :)
Hope you're all ok?
What's your favourite new products that you've tested this month?

I'd be lying if I said this month's treats were poor.
 Happy 2nd Birthday!

I've been signed up to Glossybox for about a year now and I don't think I will ever unsubcribe (so hopefully they will keep it up or get even better)I love surprises and trying out new beauty products before going ahead, paying full price for the product and then not enjoying it.

AWAPUHI WILD GINGER - SHINE SPRAY

£18.95 for 125ml

I recieved full size too, can't believe it... chuffed!
I've tested this product and really do rate it not only does it make your hair look shiny but it also protects it from everyday wear and restores damaged hair. Can't get any better huh? The only thing negative is the price of the product not everyone is going to want to pay near enough £19.00 for a shine spray.

Application: You can spray the product onto a finished hairstyle or spray each section whilst heat styling.

JELLY PONG PONG - FAIRY LASHES MASCARA.

£15.00
recieved full size again
:D

So I tried this product yesterday and I must admit I'll never change my mascara I've always used Loreal Lash Achitech and it's the best mascara I've ever used. Most of my friend's use it too now, check it out :)
This goes on quite light, I like thicker eyelashes or I don't feel like I'm wearing any make-up. The lashes didn't clump and did add length to them though.
I wiped my make-up off last night and this came off so easy, girls you know how much of a nightmare it is and a pain in the ass usually. That's my favourite thing about this product.

HEADLINE COLORS - NAIL POLISH - POOLSIDE PARTY.
£9.00 - FULL SIZE 10ML

When I opened this nail polish it looked quite thick, you know the type that looks like it peels off right away? I didn't really like the look of it in all honesty but it is really nice and such a gorgeous colour I was quite surprised. It's a matte colour but it is really shiny almost gel looking.

COLLECTION - FAST STROKE EYELINER.
FULL SIZE £2.99 - FOR 6ML

I like this liquid eyeliner, I currently use the MUA water proof liquid eyeliner and this one is just as good. Lasted all day, no smudging all in all a good product.

BEAUTIFUL MOVEMENTS COSMETICS - PRIME & CREATE MIXING MEDIUM.
£20.00 FOR 20G
This is a sampler size.

I must admit when I picked this up I thought what the heck is it? haha. But once I read about the product I was quite fascinated!
So it's one of their new product launches it's an aloe vera based gel, which can be turned into a cream foundation, blush and eye shadow that work for all skin types.. how amazing is this?
Talk about a woman's best friend! I just hope it works as well as it sounds. I haven't tested this yet but I'll let you know how it goes :)

A NICE LITTLE GLOSSYBOX FREEBIE.

miniture nail files, how cute!
handbag essential and the perfect size.

MUA.

Howdddy!
Hope you're all fine and dandy!
So my blog today is going to be about one of my favourite May purchases.

As you already know I love the MUA make-up brand that you can purchase from any Superdrug drug store.
If I'm honest I've only ever tried their lipsticks, which I highly recommend you all to try.
But I saw this palette of theirs online and thought I'd give it a try.

MUA - UNDRESS ME TOO PALETTE.
I can't believe this eyeshadow palette was
ONLY £4.00.

The Palette comes with the double ended sponge applicator and has 12 lovely shades from nude to black. Perfect colours to create a natural smokey eye.
Top from left to right: Naked, Devotion, Shy, Fiery, Lavish, Dreamy.
Bottom from left to right: Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal, Wink, Obsessed, Corupt.

I must admit I'm not the best at applying eyeshadows as I've only just started wearing them really. So I'm trying to tackle this blending technique, I have to watch the tutorials on Youtube to help me out so if your anything like me have a look on there.

Step 1. Cover the base of the eyelid with shade Shy with the sponge applicator.
Step 2. Apply Lavish in the crease of the eye to create a pinky browny shade and blend with a blending brush.
Step 3. Patting gently on the eye with Shade Devotion up to about halfway across the eye getting lighter as you work to the inside of the eye.
Step 4. From the outter eye blend Shade Fiery about a third of the eye inwards.
Step 5. Use shade Corrupt (I blew my brush before applying to the eye) and just work it round the corner of the eye and into the crease.
Step 6. With a small slanted firm brush apply shade Corrupt as  you would apply eyeliner to the top and bottom of the eye.

And there you have it a natural smokey eye perfect for an everyday look :)

Excuse my eyebrows they're in need of a serious plucking the little slugs.
I really need to get use to applying eyeshadows I always feel like I've got too much make-up on when I wear it, kinder like a hooker or something but I love seeing other people with it on.

I can't wait to try some more of their eyeshadows and other make-up products now and you can't say no to the price's either as they make their make-up affordable for us all and for good quality too which you don't get often.

What's your favourite eyeshadow brand?
And does anyone know what colour suits green eyes best?
