REVLON LIPSTICK IN CARNIVAL SPIRIT

When I looked down the clear lid the lipstick looked like the MUST have orange lipstick for my holiday, boy was I wrong! I was so disappointed when I swatched this lipstick as I didn't realise it was more like a lip tint than a lipstick. I wanted something similar to the MAC lipstick in Morange.

Carnival Spirit is one of Revlons 'Super Lustrous' lipsticks, which I didn't know at the time! That will teach me for just picking things up from random counters, in random places. The Super Lustrous lipsticks look like they would be super pigmented, but they aren't really and they do apply sheer. The swatch above was swatched back and forth quite a few times for that pigmentation to show, if you like your lips with a hint of colour you may love this lipstick. Now I have quite dark lips so lip tints aren't really something I ever reach out for as they don't do me any justice what so ever. This is what happens when I don't look at swatches before I buy. The lipstick isn't very long lasting on the lips either, one swig of a drink and it's off. I would of loved this lipstick in a matte finish, just imagine how gorgeous the lipstick would be.

Overall Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks aren't really my cup of tea, but you may have a different opinion if you like this type of finish. It's such a pretty shade when applied over and over again. I wouldn't buy another in this finish anyway and it's taught me to look at the label before I buy ha! What's your favourite finish?

COSMO SUNNIES - OOTD.

 DRESS: RIVER ISLAND (OLD)
SUNNIES: COSMO MAG
LIPS: TOPSHOP LIPS IN RIO RIO
SHOES: PUBLIC DESIRE

COSMO SUNNIES - OOTD.

Can I just start by saying how FABULOUS these cat eye sunglasses are that I got free within the Cosmopolitan magazine last week. I nearly bought some just like these from ASOS and I'm glad I didn't give in as I prefer these ones to the ones online. I doubt I'll be taking them off this week or this Summer even.

I recently found out this old dress when going through my wardrobe looking for items to list on eBay to fund my shopping habits. I remember buying it off someone on eBay for about £5.00 - what a steal! It's a super pretty dress that looks so nice through the day time with the cute lace layering and pretty little sleeves. I decided to pair it with my little dolly shoes that I bought from Public Desire. I think I may have an addiction with their shoes!

FLORAL SHORTS - OOTD.

TOP: ASOS
SHORTS: H&M
SHOES: PUBLIC DESIRE
LIPS: RIMMEL 110
DOG: PINKY (haha)

FLORAL SHORTS - OOTD.

You've got to make the most of these outdoor outfit posts when the sun is shining here in the UK (we don't get it often). Oh how I'd love to live abroad. Can you imagine the constant tan? I best put that Lottery on hadn't I?

I can never make my mind up about these shorts, its a love/hate relationship. I love the bold floral print and they do look great on, but I've hardly worn them as they haven't really been one of my 'go to' shorts. It's time for me to step away from that boring wardrobe filled with dark, plain colours and be a bit more adventurous I reckon. I decided to pair the shorts with one of my favourite vests from ASOS. I love that it doesn't have a low neckline, nobody wants to see those teenage boy boobies of mine and I can't help but rave about these gorgeous shoes from Public Desire.

Anyway, I hope you're enjoying these fashion posts as I've loved doing something a little different recently. I hope this post manages to go live as I always have a problem with scheduling my posts and as you'll know from my previous post that I'm currently away sunning it up in Gran Canaria. Hopefully sat in my TRIANGL bikini on the beach with a big floppy hat, large sunnies and a cocktail in hand - don't want much do I? Hopefully I'll have some lovely holiday photos to share with you when I get back. Speaking of getting back... I'm hoping to get my hands on is a new camera lens, thinking of going for the 50m lens. Does anyone else have it for the Canon EOS 600D? Or any other recommendations at all?

DAISY, DAISY - OOTD.

necklace: topshop
dress: h&m
shoes: public desire
bag: primark
lips: rimmel 110

Daisy, Daisy give me your answer do.
I'm half crazy all for the love of CLOTHES.

I'm loving H&M at the minute, especially for every day wear. Who doesn't love a cute flowery print? I'm currently in the process of updating my Summer wardrobe and I'm loving it! It's a shame my bank balance can't say the same. The heartbreak of being poor! Can you imagine having an unlimited card to spend in your favourite shopping centre - oh boy!

What I love about these dresses is that you can dress them up and down. Whether you want to keep it casual or pair it with some cute heels when off out for a few cocktails. Thinking about that... I feel like I haven't been out in forever! I'm also in love with my new shoes that I purchased from Public Desire. How AMAZING are they? It's love guys! Whenever I've got them on I get flash backs of being a little girl and pretending to be part of the Spice Girls. Does anyone remember those bubble platform sandals? I had a pair in white and baby blue. What I'd give to be that age again.

Anyway, it's just a short one today cheekies as I'm off to eat myself into a Chinese food coma. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I'm hoping the weathers nice so I can take some blog photos *fingers crossed*.

How Can You Love Someone And Not Yourself? - OOTD.

necklace: topshop
dress: h&m
boots: boohoo

How Can You Love Someone And Not Yourself? - OOTD.

The pattern of this dress reminds me of a dish cloth and the more I look at the pictures the more I don't like how it looks on its own. I'd usually wear this dress with a black fedora, tights and my long black trench coat. I was having one of those days when you sit in the sun and just wear nothing (not really) can you imagine what my neighbours would say! I also like to wear this dress with a little white or black top/crop underneath, as wearing it alone usually makes me feel quite naked! I was having a naked day!

I'm loving this dainty necklace that I purchased from Topshop, it's gold and has two little coins on it. I seem to be wearing a lot of coins lately. I feel like some kind of stripper! (without the money). It's just a shame I didn't get a close up picture of my necklace. I must remember to try and take photos of more deets. I'm still practising though. Please be patient!

My mum and dad booked me a late surprise holiday to Gran Canaria. I go on Monday and I can't wait! I'm sick of this glum weather in the UK. I was made to live abroad or at least be a mermaid. So I'll be away for 7 days this coming Monday. I can't wait to get my wear out of that TRIANGL bikini!

Who's that making an appearance in my OOTD this time? It's Nelly the Chihuahua, she reminds me of a galaxy caramel! Anyone else? ha!

CB Cocoa Brown - Fake Tan

Cocoa Brown fake tan is one of the products from Marissa's range. Marissa discovered the fake tan when she was on maternity leave and has had nothing but success since the product launched. The bottle drew me in right away when I saw it in Primark quite some time ago. I believe it was around £6.00 ish. You can also purchase this fake tan in Superdrug or on their online website. When I read on the bottle that it 'lasts 5-7 days' I was sold and wanted to give it a whirl. What's great about this tan is that it develops within 1 hour... Yes! One hour. Although I left mine on for about 7/8 hours. I always put mine on before I get in bed and then remove it the following morning. Although, you could get away with wearing this one throughout the day and wash it off in the evening as it doesn't have that funky fake tan smell. Yes, you read that right NO FAKE TAN SMELL. Waheeeey!

This fake tan is a mousse that has a pump dispenser. The mousse is surprisingly thick, not like any other mousse that I've tried before. To me the mousse felt what a high end fake tan should feel like if that makes sense? The consistency helped when applying the fake tan as it was less messy with hardly any splashes to the floor or on those clothes that you've left laying around. When it comes to washing the tan off in the morning I prefer to take a shower rather than taking a bath. I then rinse away any excess from the tan that's been applied and dab lightly when getting out. You must always remember to moisturise daily when wearing fake tan, it will help to pro long the tan and keep it looking neat and tidy. When I washed away this tan in particular I was shocked by the the colour it left me, I was getting compliments from everyone as it left my skin with the most natural golden tan I've ever laid eyes on (on myself that is) ha! I'm happy with this tan all round and I'll continue to re-purchase until it's off the shelves!

What I've always wanted to know from my fellow fake tan lovers is... how do you get off unwanted tan? That's my biggest problem about fake tan you see my skin seems to cling and hold on to tan forever and a day, which is good at first, but not when you want the unwanted tan off. I've tried scrubs, exfoliating mitts, the back of a sponge (which felt like wire wool) and so on. I'd love to be able to get it off properly in one bath. Does anyone else have the same problem or any great tips?

What's your holy grail fake tan?
