FLYING HIGH BATH BOMB - BOMB COSMETICS.

Flying High is the first bath bomb that I've ever tried from the Bomb Cosmetics range. I've seen them on people's Instagrams and that, but I've never really seen any in person. This one was bought for me by my sister when she went away. She knows just how much I love to be in the bath with a good bomb.

Now this bath bomb is very pretty to look at, it has a main colour of turquoise with some cute little red mushrooms on the top (I think that's what they are), but to be honest it didn't really impress me that much. Don't get me wrong it did smell really nice, kinda like palma violets mixed with either vanilla or coconut, but it wasn't strong and it didn't give me that wow factor like a Lush Cosmetics bath bomb does. I'm feeling a Lush haul coming on again very soon. Although the bath bomb did leave my skin feeling super soft and you could definitely feel all the oils that had been released when the bath bomb had dissolved. Flying high did leave my bath water a gorgeous turquoise colour, which wasn't a nightmare to rinse away after, that's always a plus! Have you tried anything from Bomb Cosmetics before? If so what did you think?

SUNFLOWER - OOTD.

SUNFLOWER OOTD

Baby spice move over because there's a new girl in town and I love me some platforms! How frickin' awesome are these shoes though? I'm in LOVE! I found these little beauties on Boohoo this week and they was only £25.00! Bargain. I seem to have an obsession with cleated soles at the minute too. Anyone else?

Motel, Motel, Motel... When it comes to Motel Rocks I could literally put every single item on their website in my basket and click check out, but unfortunately I'm not a millionaire and I can't do that. I'll just have to make do with my little splurges every now and again. I've been after something with a sunflower print for ages as I'm going out this weekend for one of my friends birthdays. That's when I stumbled across this little crop top, it's part of a co ord set, which means I also bought the little tube skirt too (obviously). I'm sure they'll be some pictures popping up on my Instagram or Twitter over the weekend. I'm pairing the co ord with these new shoes so I will be able to dance all night long without my feet burning away. It feels like I haven't done one of these in what feels like forever! All I could think whilst looking through these pictures was, how is it possible to keep white skinnies cleaner throughout the day than it is to keep black jeans? It seems bizarre, but it's so true! Right?

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I didn't even use my trusty tripod for these pictures. I've been showing my little brother a few tips and tricks and he managed to take all three of these pictures for me. I think he's done a damn good job! He's only 10 years old :o well done and thank you Harry! x

DATING - LIFESTYLE.

Ok so this is a different kind of post today, but I'd like to see what works and what doesn't work, so what the eck. So, I seem to have many friends that come to me for dating and relationship advise and tips, why? I'm the one here that's still single. 'But you know how to be' and 'I need to know how to play it cool' etc. That could be the reason why I'm still living the lifestyle of an 18 year old!
Yes, I'm 23years old and I'm still 'loving life' being single. How very cringey of me.

Ok so let's get to the nitty gritty, dates
Duh, duh, duuuuuuuh! What to do? Where to go? How do I act? What do I wear? Am I good enough for him/her? And always the day before or on the day... am I poorly? Haha! (sorry to any of the guys that may read this who've asked me on a date and I've totally pied you off with an 'I'm not feeling very well' text message). It happens! What will be will be. OK JUST STOP.
Forget about all of that! Get yourself dolled up like you're off out to meet one of the girls at the bar. You never know who's coming around that corner anyway (Johnny Knoxville you're welcome anytime). Nerves? Have a vodka! (Obviously if you're over 18) haha! Am I good enough for him/her? Is HE/SHE good enough for you? Stop worrying and wondering whether they like you or not. Just sit back and take it all in. You know when someone likes you or is interested by how the act around you. What's that quote... "Don't talk, just act. Don't say, just show. Don't promise, just prove.' It's corny I know, but very true. And if the dates a total flop, the dates a total flop! You'll probably never see them again anyway and you've more than likely had a free slap up meal or went to see that film you wanted to see anyway, bonus! You need to learn to leave your emotions back at home.

What NOT to do when dating
Have high expectations - you're going on your first date jeez just don't expect anything.
Overload with text messages - NO if he/she wants to text you they will. This is where it's ok to be stubborn.
Get jealous far too soon - so what if he likes another girls picture on Instagram. I bet I like pictures of men with beards and tattoos more ha! *perv alert*
Get drunk on the first date - you know it's not going to end well and more than likely those beer goggles will be on and you will think you're dating Gerard Butler.
Slop your chops - don't even dare! They won't be a second date
Show weakness - just don't! Think Queen B!
Love you - YES some even say the L word far too soon. Yes! I've had this after a week... a week! I've been in 8 month relationships and still questioned if I'll ever love them haha. Obviously they didn't work out and I now know not to date men that take longer to get ready than me.

So just be yourself and enjoy every moment. You'll either come back in coo coo land which is filled with floating love hearts and unicorns or have some kind of funny story to tell all of your friends. I'll never forget the disaster meal date I had when I came home and had to tell everyone about me going for something 'not messy' off the menu, it was a fruit pasta dish and I choked on a grape. A grape! Or you go for your favourite gammon dish and you're trying to elegantly cut the meat and all your garden peas end up on your dates lap. So yeah, I try to avoid meal dates as much as I can now haha!

What happened to the days when phones didn't exist and if you was meeting someone, you went and met them? You clicked instantly, fell in love, got married and if you had any relationship drama you fought through it rather than chucking the towel in. That's another problem these days... We'll save that for another post though eyy?

& just remember ladies
'If anyone can have it, you don't want it'
No one wants someone that's messaging/meeting everyone on the block. Sleaze balls make me gag!

BLEACH LONDON - AQUA MONIOUS COLOUR KIT

Bleach London are pretty well known for their amazing semi permanent magical hair colours/tints, hair chalks and peroxide packages. When I saw this little packet online I instantly thought yay! I can have mermaid hair! And as you know I've been experimenting with my 'sassy' side recently haven't I? Whatever is next I wonder? Don't worry I won't be going all Britney Spears anytime soon.

Aqua Monious contains 3 of 12 Bleach London colours. Including Washed Up Mermaid, Sea Punk & Blullini. How awesome are those names to match the magical colours? It's love! This kit is really good for trying out different colours even though the bottles you receive only include 50ml of colour which seems quite small compared to your bigger sized bottles which contain 150ml. I got one of the bigger bottles in Washed Up Mermaid as I liked this colour the most out of them all. It's quite surprising how little you need to apply too. I've coloured my hair three times and my little brothers twice and still haven't emptied a bottle yet. Anyway lets get to the nitty gritty and have a look how we apply.

Directions: Wearing rubber gloves, apply to shampooed, towel dried hair, massaging in to ensure you cover all the hair evenly. Leave on for 15 minutes. Then rinse out with lukewarm water. Do not shampoo!

How I applied mine to the ends of my hair
  • I separated my hair into pig tails and wrapped a bobble around each side like a normal pigtail.
  • Then I applied another bobble into each end just above where i wanted the colour to stop.
  • I then wet each end of hair under the tap and pressed the towel on them both, so there was no leaky hair.
  • On went the gloves and I picked out one of the colours... Washed Up Mermaid to be precise hehe! I placed a blog withing my fingertips and rubbed it into the ends of my hair.

tick-tock tick-tock
  • After waiting 15minutes I rinsed off the colour and dried my hair. I looked in the mirror and wah laaaah... there was some kind of mermaid staring back at me!

Here's a picture stole from my instagram with Washed Up Mermaid in the ends

I bet many of you reading and looking at the pictures are wondering how to get the colour out, right? Well they only last from 2-8 washes. Which is great for those mad moments of pretending you're a mermaid! (pretty much every day for me) Although green toned colours can last a little longer than others. Mine usually fade out after about 7 or 8 washes. If you're still struggling after that you can always try using a medicated shampoo such as Vosene.

I've also tried Blullini which unfortunately didn't turn out that bright on my hair, maybe it would work best on a  bleach blonde main hmmeee and sea punk is an amazing shade of green. Oh so bright! Have you tried any of these little gems from Bleach London? I absolutely love them and can't wait to try some more! Although I'm finding it hard restraining myself from putting a full head of bleach on. I purchased my little kit from the Boots website | link
