STRIPES & PINAFORE | OOTD.

 STRIPES & PINAFORE | OOTD.

How long has it been since I did an OOTD kinda post?! Yikes! I've had a crazy couple of months, but I'm back at home now so I'm back and I'm going to get back on top of my Blogger game. I hope you're all well anyway and hopefully glad to see me back ha!

Hello Autumn! (jumping the gun a little, but it won't be long and it definitely feels like Autumn already). I really can't believe how quick this year has gone. It's crazy! Anyway, back to the fashion post. There's something about pinafores that I love so much, whether it's on me or someone else. I think they are super cute and they never seem to go out of fashion either? I really need to get myself a little denim one too. I think they can look nice with a casual top like I've put underneath or dressed up with a nice shirt/blouse.

FAUX FUR & STRIPES.

FAUX FUR & STRIPES.

With the Summer approaching I've been adding to my Spring/Summer wardrobe. As I've said in previous posts I'm trying to add more colour (other than black) to my wardrobe. Now what I have worked out is that you can wear something colourful paired with a black jacket, gilet, trench coat etc. So that's as far as I've got recently.

Anyway lets talk about these lovely items...
The jumpsuit and faux fur gilet are both from CelebLook, which is an online website that has the most gorgeous, yet affordable clothes. I ordered this jumpsuit in a size 8 and it fits me perfect! That is hard for me with me being so petite and not the tallest of people. Hello troll doll! I absolutely love the contrast of these colours together, I don't own that many items in wardrobe that are pastel shades. What do we think? Yay or nay? I've honestly not had the faux fur gilet off either. I love anything with shabby hair! Now you can call me dumb, but I can't believe how warm these things are to say they don't have sleeves! (I've never owned a gilet before) ha. I can see this being a staple throughout the year already.

I hope you're all having a lovely week :)

RUSH OOTD.

RUSH OOTD.

This was one of those mornings that I had about half an hour to get ready, everything was in the wash so I had no clothes and I needed to take a few quick blog photos before heading out of the house. I must be more organised when it comes to choosing an OOTD for my blog, it kills me!

Anyway I'm really loving high neck vests/tops anything of the sort at the minute. So it was a must when I stumbled across this little cheap crop top in H&M for just £5.99. What I like about this crop is that it comes down a lot lower on the tummy than most crop tops. Everyone needs a black and white high neck in their wardrobe, they just go with everything ... right?!

I'm still trying to break my dockers in, although they've never rubbed me, I just want them to be soft and bendy so I don't feel like I'm walking robotic. So I've been trying to wear these out as much as I can this week. I will break you in! What have you been up to anyway? I'm gutted that the sunshine hasn't stayed around :( waaaaah.

WHITE SUNGLASSES.

WHITE SUNGLASSES.

I'm seriously loving white accessories at the moment. I honestly can't get enough so when I saw these cute little sunglasses in Primark last week I had to pick them up. Now I've always been a fan of circle framed glasses or anything that looks like a 'John Lennon' pair. Do you feel comfortable wearing these kind of glasses? Whilst I was in Primark I also picked up this military style dress, which is very light weight and not too clingy on the bod, which will be great throughout the S/S this year. They also did this dress in navy and khaki I think? But I decided to go for black as I didn't have anything in this style in the colour black.

How gorgeous has it been recently? I definitely made the most of it this weekend whilst I was babysitting for my two nieces and nephew. We decided to go to the park and me and my boyfriend seemed to have more fun than the kids. We spent our weekend playing on the park, climbing trees, playing crazy golf and had a water fight in the garden. Did you get up to much this weekend?

RUSTY.

 RUSTY.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate my gorgeous new bag from Etsy. I've been looking all over for one of these bags for about a year and I couldn't find one in a pattern that I liked, until I came across this one on the Etsy website and the fact that this bag was made and shipped from Thailand makes it even cooler than it already is. Do we like?

Now I'm not usually one to support a turtle neck, but I thought this little top from New Look gave the look of a turtle neck, without it being as high as they usually are. I think because I have a long neck anyway they just don't suit me at all, but I must admit I'm really liking this ribbed high neck style and I'm loving this rusty orange shade at the minute also. I feel like this colour is gonna be with me all Summer.

I've had some time off blogging this week (yup I didn't have any blog posts scheduled or anything. I'm such a bad blogger). I needed the time off just to get my day to day life back on track and I've re-vamped my bedroom eeeek. It's gone from super cute vintage shades to a very clean/sleek looking bedroom. I've gone for white and a very pale grey with mustard accessories. It looks so lovely, but I have no idea what I'm going to do when it comes to fake tanning. I'll regret buying those white bed sheets for sure!

Hope you're all ok anyway!

#LETSGETSKIRTY | GEORGE ASDA COLLAB.

 #LETSGETSKIRTY | BAAAH HUM BUG
I'm really into mixing and matching my clothes at the minute, whether it be big bad ass stripes like this gorgeous black and white striped skirt or bright bold colours. I'm getting rid of the old boring black loving Chanelle and bringing out my rainbow unicorn self, and if all else fails you can just stick some pom poms in your ears. That kinda thang!

I probably wear midi skirts and maxi skirts the most throughout the Summer. I think they are great staples to have in your wardrobe as they can easily be dressed up or down. This midi skirt is from George ASDA and it's perfect. It's one of those comfy skirts that you could wear all day long, you know super stretchy, can go out for dinner and still feel comfy skirt. I've also noticed that they have now got this pattern in another gorgeous structured midi length skirt. I just may have to add it to my collection.

#LETSGETSKIRTY | LIL SKATER SKIRT WON'T HURT NOTHANG.

Skater skirts are something that hasn't really gone out of fashion, which is good as they really compliment my frame. I'm forever wearing baggy clothes that makes me look like a tom boy. So adding a skater skirt can really give your outfit a girly touch. I usually like to pair my skater skirts with a baggy vests and a blazer or with a check shirt and knee high socks. This skater skirt is such great quality for the price of just £10. You can't beat a tailored skirt with an elasticated band. It's one of those items that will used over and over again.

Can you believe that the belt I'm wearing here is an old belt of mine that I use to pair with my wide flared jeans from Tammy Girl. I was going through the 'I'm Avril Lavigne' stage *hides face*.

POM POM.

POM POM.

Did anyone else try and make the most of the sunshine this weekend? It was so nice to go out with the girls, without getting soaked by the rain. Speaking of going out, I wore this dog tooth style dress, which I got from Missguided on Saturday night, paired with my new favourite pom pom earrings. How fab are they though?! Who said you can't dress a night time outfit down? I really hope the sunshine continues, I love it! It just makes me want to pack away all my dark clothes.

Speaking of colours, I'm after a nice colourful coat, I really like the ones from Ragged Priest, but they are a little pricey and you know me, always shopping on a budget. Does anyone know of any nice ones? Kind of like a duster, drape coat if anyone can give me any ideas that would be great.

Well I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
