L'Oreal Paris - Lumi Magique | Beauty

L'Oreal Paris - Lumi Magique - Pure Light Primer

As you all know I LOVE my L'Oreal!
So here is one of my recent purchases that I included in one of my posts to show you what I'd been spending on lately. Now as you can see in the picture above it's a pretty pearlescent colour, which is kind of like a liquid but a little thicker.
Now when I mentioned this product previously I didn't really rate it at all, in fact I thought it was a waste! Well... when I had tried it before I was using it as a primer/base to my foundation. Although I found that it left my skin feeling silky soft and made my foundation a lot more blend able, making it easier for me to apply my make up. I found that the longevity of the product didn't seem any different to usual and I found that you lost the luminous effect so it kind of defeated it's own purpose in my eyes.

Now my opinion has totally changed towards the product and I really like it.
When using a few drops of the Lumi Magique mixed with foundation it has a total different effect. It makes the skin have the prettiest sheen/glow to it. If you're like me and you love your glowy products, give it a go! Honestly you won't regret it. (Nobody will think that your glow came from a bottle). I've also heard that it's really good to use as a highlighter, now I don't know about that just yet as I haven't tried it, but I'll have to give it a whirl this week. I hope it's just as good for that too as I've read quite a lot of reviews from people that have just bought the product for that particular reason.

So just to clarify I don't rate the product as a primer, but find that it's really good as a illuminator :)
You can purchase this from your local Superdrug or Boots drugstore and if you don't have one then check out their websites online.
Retailed at £9.99

Sleek - Face Form

Sleek - Face Form
Contouring and blush palette

So those of you who read my blog will know that in my recent haul my new Sleek blusher was broken!
*tut tut*
Well I went into Superdrug today and came across this palette which included the Rose Gold blush... Yippee!
I obviously had to open it in store to make sure it was all in tack (naughty me).
I'm trying to get into contouring which involves me watching and reading so many YouTube channels/Beauty blogs. I'm kind of getting the hang of it now though, halleluiah!
Everyone loves the Sleek design as it's quite similar to NARS. Fingers crossed mine stays in place this time though! Watch out for the fingerprints on the casing though. I'm not that OCD but for those of you that are. It marks easily!
So in this palette you get a highlighter, blush and bronzer. Quite alright for us starters I'd say. I went for this in Light 373 pretty much because it had the blusher in ha ha. Everyone knows how amazing the blusher is I don't think I'll need to go into too much detail it's a rosy blush with gold undertones and it's THEE BEST. The bronzer is quite surprisingly nice as well I thought it might be too light for my skin tone but it's not and it's buildable too. The highlighter is such a nice shade it's quite light with a hint of peach to it, not much but just enough :)
This product was only £10.00
Would I repurchase? Yes!
Am I happy with my purchase? 100%

Do you own any of the Sleek palettes? Or have you already got your hands on this one?
Let me know what you think.
Also wondering what brushes would be good to go with this palette?

Too many questions! I'll shut up now :D

POUT PAINT.

by sleek
How cute are these little lip stains?
They're long lasting, highly pigmented and to make them more fun...
you can mix them with other pout paint tubes!
How cool is that?

I never really go for the lip stains as I don't really rate them, but these are so good!
You can purchase them in Superdrug for just £4.99 each.

here is my swatch of the lipstains.
There's so many more than you can choose from though, if these aren't really your cup of tea.
the nude one is my favourite, I'm loving my nude lips at the minute.
Another good thing about these little tubes is that you only have to add a tiny amount to your lips. As it easily spreads & they are long lasting too!
You can use your finger for a quick & easy application or apply with a lip brush for a better look.

this is 161 minx
It's a peachy/nude and is perfect for everyday use
or if you were going for bold eyes on a night out I'd recommend wearing this.

this is 154 Mauve Over
it's quite a vibrant pink/purple, kind of a statment lipstain.
would be nice to mix this with the white pout paint tube to make it more everyday.

Have you tried any of the Sleek lipstains yet?
