YANKEE CANDLE WAX TART - ANGEL'S WINGS.

YANKEE CANDLE WAX TART - ANGEL'S WINGS.

There was something about this Yankee Candle when I read the name 'Angel's Wings' that instantly made me think of my Auntie Debbie, as soon as I saw the tart I knew for a fact that she would of picked it up or bought this in jar form, it's so her. She was a magpie when it came to anything that had fairies or angels on it. So it just had to go in the basket.

This candle brings you peace, happy thoughts and lets you unwind whilst thinking about your favourite loved ones that are sadly no longer with us other than in spirit. I couldn't wait to light this one, it wasn't just the scent that I wanted to get a whiff of, but I wanted to have a night to unwind and de-stress and let all my sad thoughts I'd been having lately turn into positive memories. When lighting this candle I let my mind take me away and I had a lovely night thinking about my favourite memories with my family and friends that are missed so deeply.

'Spirits rise on this beautiful airy aroma of joyfully sweet spun sugar, heavenly sheer flower petals and divinely smooth vanilla'. - Yankee Candle.

I found the scent was a little strong/sickly the first night I used it, but I continued to use it and the tart smelt absolutely gorgeous the next few nights that I had lit it. You could definitely smell the vanilla coming through, more to the end of using this one up, eventually leaving my room smelling like buns! yum yum.

Have you tried this one before? What is your favourite Yankee Candle so far this year?

YANKEE CANDLE WAX TART - NOVEMBER RAIN.

The weather seems to be getting colder recently and there's nothing better than putting your feet up on a night along with your favourite candle glistening in the corner. Now this is new for me as I've always bought the jars from Yankee Candle, but it was time for a change and I was quite intrigued by these little wax tarts.

All you have to do is place the wax tart into a burner and place an unscented tea light below. Give the wax time to melt, as this happens the fragrance will be released. You can also mix and match your tarts to create your own scent. Each Yankee Tart lasts up to 8 hours scent wise that is, I have also found that some last longer than this. This is a great way to test out new scents and have a new fragrance in the house more often. Another little tip is to break the tart in to two pieces and use just one piece at a time, that's if you're like me and like to change your tarts quite regularly.

The November Rain scent is described as 'quiet interlude of the season is reflected in this airy, refreshing mix of watery leaf notes, warm amber and crisp, brisk air' and I couldn't agree more. November Rain is a quite a strong, fresh scented candle and you can really feel the season when you light this one. I purposely didn't light mine until November either because of the name, is that pathetic? haha. November Rain has to be one of my favourite Yankee Candle scents that I've tried so far and let me tell you I've tried plenty.

Yankee Candle have some nice burners that you can buy online and in certain stores that usually range around the £10 mark. The one in the picture above is just a cheap one from B&M that cost me 99p. The tarts are usually around £1.20, but they usually have a few on offer online.

Have you tried November Rains before? What's your favourite Yankee Candle?

this weekend.

hey everyone!

I have to share with you some of my fave buys this month. Like this cut out midi dress from
it was only £24.99 too.
I chose khaki as it is one of my favourite colours at the minute, was quite surprised how nice it looked on too. I also wore my boots from missguided, love these boots they're so comfy and make me feel & look quite tall! I'm only 5ft3 :( wahh shorty!

I also added this bangle in with the dress and boots. It caught my eye straight away. Quite a brassy gold with pearl balls, so cute! I love these little vintage bangles.

This was from H&M
£4.99

So it was the
'Grand National' this weekend and to be honest it's never really interested me before, but I noticed a lot of my friends were taking part so I thought I would have a go. I chose 3 horses and only one of them came in 2nd place so I didn't really win much but it was so  much fun! :) The weather was lovely yesterday.. Its awesome how a bit of sunshine can change you mood instantly. Today I'm just going to chill in my slobby clothes, light my yankee candles, watch films & eat lots of naughty food!

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
